- Luckily, I didn't embarrass myself
- A lot of times, it boils down to what are the judges looking for - in this case i had two a&r's and three producers (all of which who are trying to get the sample free/pop/r&b money right now) - needless to say they wanted to hear what was "currently hot"
- Ended up finishing 3rd, a little disappointing but what can you do?
On a side note, I discovered that there are stages to accepting a beat battle loss, much like grieving:
1) Shock
2) Anger
3) Bitterness/Hating
4) Acceptance
5) After sleeping on it, back to being a hater but being ok with it
